Our goal at ASB is to provide our students with a solid foundation of skill development and an understanding of the benefit and value of leading activities and contributing to the society.
In preparation for their roles as future leaders, thinkers, and change-makers, students at ASB are offered the opportunity to participate in several leadership activities, including Model United Nations, the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC), the Students’ Council, CAS, National Honor Society, and INJAZ.
Model United Nations (MUN)

To prepare students to become future leaders, innovators, and change-makers, all Esol Education schools provide opportunities to engage in Model United Nations (MUN), a simulated UN conference experience. These conferences provide avenues for students to learn about pressing world issues, develop critical thinking and leadership abilities as well as hone their research, writing, debating and public speaking skills.
At ASB, we look forward to participating in local and international MUN conferences with award-winning student panels that represent their adopted countries’ best interests on a world stage.
World Scholar’s Cup ( WSC)

The World Scholar's Cup is an enriching global competition that challenges students in areas such as debate, writing, and interdisciplinary knowledge. ASB students have actively participated in various World Scholar's Cup conferences, both within Bahrain and internationally, showcasing their skills and passion for learning. The school has had the privilege of hosting multiple events on campus, providing a platform for students to engage with peers from diverse backgrounds. These experiences not only foster critical thinking and teamwork but also inspire a love for academic exploration and global citizenship among our students.
Student Council

The Student Council at ASB plays a vital role in shaping the school community, with active participation from both elementary and secondary sections. Together, these councils organize events, address student concerns, and collaborate with the school' s educators and administration to foster a positive and inclusive school environment. From planning spirit days and community service projects to advocating for student needs, the Student Council empowers students to make a meaningful impact on ASB.
Creativity, Activity, Service ( CAS )

A core element of the International Baccalaureate Program at ASB is Creativity, Activity, Service ( CAS ). Our students in grades 11 and 12 have been actively engaged in planning creative CAS projects that enhance their learning experiences. Through those projects they were able to apply their knowledge in real- world contexts. This hands-on approach not only fosters personal growth but also encourages collaboration and innovation among peers, ultimately enriching their educational journey at ASB.
National Honor Society (NHS)

The National Honor Society (NHS) at ASB recognizes and celebrates students who demonstrate exceptional scholarship, leadership, service, and character. As part of an international network, the NHS encourages students to excel academically while also contributing to their communities. Members engage in various service projects, promoting a spirit of volunteerism and social responsibility. Through leadership opportunities and collaborative initiatives, NHS fosters a sense of camaraderie among students, empowering them to become active, responsible citizens. This commitment to excellence not only enhances the school community but also prepares students for future challenges as global leaders.
INJAZ

ASB is committed to supporting local initiatives that empower students on their innovation journey. One such initiative is INJAZ, which our grade 11 and 12 students actively participated in. Through this program, they engaged in entrepreneurship projects that allowed them to explore their creative ideas and business skills while competing against other schools. This hands-on experience not only enhanced their understanding of the entrepreneurial process but also fostered collaboration and critical thinking. By supporting initiatives like INJAZ, ASB reinforces its dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders and innovators.
