ASB Recognized at Gulf Insider’s Bahrain Education Awards 2024

Bahrain – November, 2024 – American School of Bahrain is delighted to announce its recognition at the Bahrain Education Awards 2024 for receiving the world’s first RAIL endorsement for the AI Literacy, Safety, and Ethics. The prestigious award, presented during a gala ceremony on 12th November at The Art Hotel and Resort, Amwaj, acknowledges the school’s efforts to create enriching educational experiences and prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving world.

This endorsement recognizes the school’s leadership in implementing AI literacy and ethics across its educational programs, ensuring that students and staff are equipped to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence with responsibility and foresight​. ASB is taking a whole-school approach to AI literacy, safety, and ethics across all grade levels, ensuring that students, staff, and the broader community are equipped with the knowledge to use AI tools responsibly and effectively. 

Established in 2022, the Bahrain Education Awards is a first-of-its-kind platform celebrating innovation and excellence in Bahrain’s education space. From ethical AI use to sustainable practices, the 2024 innovations represented several areas that schools and universities in the Kingdom are focusing on.

The process encourages institutions to share a brief background about their most recent innovations, the implementation process, an assessment of the impact, the challenges faced, and the lessons learned in hindsight.
