American School of Bahrain Founding Director, Mr. Dave McMaster, recently joined Educators Going Global for a podcast discussion on his experience opening ASB.
With 35 years of experience in K-12 education, Dave McMaster has built a remarkable career spanning leadership roles in Canada, Hong Kong, and Bahrain. Since joining the Esol Education group in 2018, Mr. Dave has been instrumental in establishing the American School of Bahrain (ASB), which opened its doors in September 2020. Despite the unprecedented challenges of launching a school during a global pandemic, ASB began with just over 100 students and has since grown to nearly 800 students in its first five years.
