This October, we are pleased to present our Think Pink initiative in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
We held a successful Ceramic Workshop for both parents and students, showcasing creativity and community spirit. Our Pink Dress Down Day encouraged everyone to wear pink as a symbol of solidarity.
To further raise awareness, the ASB Parent Association organized a Classroom Door Decorating Competition. Each homeroom class creatively decorated their doors with themes related to Breast Cancer Awareness. Congratulations to our winning classes: 12B, 7A, and 5B, who were rewarded with delicious ice cream for their efforts.
Students from Grades 3-12 participated in a fundraising raffle featuring exciting prizes, including opportunities to be the School Director for a Day, Dunk the Teacher, Teach a PE Class, and enjoy a Pizza Lunch for their class. Additionally, the ASB Parent Association hosted a delightful Bubble Day for our ECC to Grade 2 students, which included sensory stations and bubble wand building.
All proceeds from these initiatives will be donated to the Bahrain Cancer Society. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to our Think Pink initiative. Your support is vital in raising awareness and funds for this important cause.
